Englewood Quality of Life Plan Taskforce Meeting Updates

The Englewood Quality of Life Taskforce meetings are scheduled to resume after the November Community Summit. There, taskforce members will have an opportunity to review efforts of the early action plans as well as further co-author developments to support the 5 community  issue areas that will be presented in their totality during the summit.

So please, save the date of November 12, 2016 for the November Community Summit where the Englewood Quality of Life Plan Taskforces will  converge together  to 1) present the published plan and 2) determine as group how we want to proceed in terms of future meetings, plan implementation, evaluation and accountability.

The Education Taskforce early action effort is still on- going until November  partnering with the Englewood Salvation Army at MLK Academy for the "Reading is Essential"  program. Interested volunters should reach out  to Mark Rund at the Salvation Army.  Secondly is the  Englewood Highschool Voter Registration drive.  The taskforce as well at Teamwork Englewood are attempting to register students (17-18 yrs) to vote in the November election.  We  are seeking volunteer registrars.  If you or anyone you know is interested and available during the school day, please email Rosalind Moore  at
