Re-Entry Resource Center

Re-Entry Resource Center provides ex-offenders with a one-stop location for services and support to help them become productive citizens. Clients are connected to service providers and other agencies for counseling on housing, substance abuse and mental health issues, sealing or expunging their criminal records and for other services to help them live productive, drug-free lives. The center which receives financial support from Illinois Department of Family and Support Services , has helped more than 1,000 men and women find employment and housing and to enroll at Kennedy-King College, also a partner in this program. 

Since 2008, Teamwork Englewood has housed the city of Chicago's Re-Entry Resource Center for ex-offenders. Though the Center is located in Englewood it serves all of the South-side. The Center is a centralized source for the many programs and resources available to its clients. The supportive staff is here to help provide resources on how to become productive citizens.

The trained staff members will help direct its clients to the appropriate agencies that specialize in housing, substance abuse, mental health issues, and sealing or expunging their criminal records. This is all in an effort to help them live productive, drug-free lives. The Center is funded by the Illinois Department of Family and Support Services. The Center has helped more than 1,000 men and women find employment, housing, and enroll at Kennedy-King College, a partner of the Re-Entry Center.
